Created a simple card using the KKS Best Fur-iends stamp set along with some cute paper from Imaginisce that I've had in my stash forever. I added a pop of color with enamel dots from Paper Studio. The little boy and his puppy were colored with Prismacolor pencils. Thanks for visiting.</div>

<span style="text-align: start;">Sew much fun challenge: use a sewing related item.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;">I decided that a quilt card would be perfect for this challenge. I started by cutting the design from three patterned papers and one solid blue then pieced them together in the desired pattern. The quilt square was then layered on red cardstock before positioning it on a blue cardfront. A sentiment was embossed across the lower portion of the card. As a final touch a button was added to the center of the quilt square.</span></div>

Challenge: Complete 1 card in 20 minutes or less</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This simple card took every bit of the 20 minutes to put together and that was with all of my supplies gathered ahead of time but I like the finished card. I started with a plaid base, added a die cut piece of sno cone cardstock to the top, embossed the sentiment in white, and then added the die cut and embossed elephant. For the final touch I added a die cut heart and covered it with clear wink of stella for some sparkle.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This challenge was to combine 3 or more separate stamp sets on one card. I chose these sets: New Best Friends, Feline Better, and Critter Condolences. I began with cardstock cut from cool as a cucumber with the A2 stitched rectangle stax, added paw prints with clear embossing up the left side, wrapped ribbon around the panel. Stamped my images on a white rectangle and layered it on plaid before adding to the card. The sentiment and one of the cats are adhered with foam dots to add dimension.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The challenge was to combine a technique with a card style. I chose inlaid die cutting with a gate fold card. I die cut layered hearts, the larger heart from red cardstock and the smaller from white. Using the paw print from pet accents, I cut it into the white heart. I cut them a second time out of black cardstock and inlaid them into the white heart. I layered the hearts on top of a gate fold card that I had added a panel which has paw prints dry embossed on it and cut down the middle. Using foam tape on the left side of the heart and a velcro dot on the right side so that it will open and close. Inside I added a panel with the sentiment.</div>

I am so in love with this adorable card! I started with the stitched collage frame, added a scene on the right side with the Pure Innocence ice skater and on the left side I chose to fill the three openings with plaid background and a snowflake die cut. The ice skater was paper-pieced with the plaid for her scarf and skirt and a solid pink sweater and leggings. The remainder of the little girl was colored with colored pencils. I added glimmer mist in pearl to the blue background to resemble falling snow. Die cut stitched valleys and 3 winter trees were added to the scene. Finally I've added a piece of transparency behind the lower right section to resemble ice.</div>

For the #87 Color Challenge I decided to make a card with a cat theme. I started with the stitched collage frame and some color blocking. Added stamps from 2 Pure Innocence sets, Purrfect and Feline Better, along with a die from pet accents. The little girl's dress was paper-pieced with a gingham paper. I like the simplicity of the final card with these colors. Thanks for visiting.</div>

I was inspired by the color pink, the shape of the white cookies, the diamond background, and the little bird in the photo. I used all of these elements to create a sweet birthday card. Instead of the bird I used an adorable ladybug from a doodlebug paper pack that I just got in the mail today. I embossed white cardstock with diamonds and dots then cut it with a spellbinders shape. </div>

I have always admired cards with a white on white color scheme and have been wanting to give it a try so this week I combined these two challenges to create this card. The first layer has craft foam behind it to give dimension. I embossed it with a snowflake folder by Darice. The next layer is also popped up with craft foam to add another slight shadow in the white on white colors. I diecut the word Joy and adhered it to the stitched mini scallop circle. Each snowflake has glitter added with the wink of stella pen and tiny pearl beads have been added throughout the snowflakes. It turned out very pretty and I was happy with the end result. Hope you'll join us in these fun challenges. It is definitely helpful in encouraging me to try new things.</div>

My supply of sympathy cards is quite depleted so I thought I would use this week's challenge sketch to create something simple and yet soothing using a yellow and white color scheme. This card began with an embossed layer by M'press with a round frame in the middle, I then added a stamped greeting by MSE and surrounded it with varied yellow flowers by Prima. I put Ranger liquid pearls in the center of each flower. I decided on an additional thin layer of black behind the white embossing to help ground the black lettering in the center.</div>

The challenge was pumpkins so I used this stamp from Pure Innocence named Li'l Pumpkin. Her dress and tights are paper-pieced from some of the papers from the same My Mind's Eye Reunion paper stack as the elements of the page. The card was finished with baker's twine (Doodlebug) and punched flowers with Nuvo drop centers.</div>

I bought the MFT Stitched Flowers dies a while back and have been waiting for a good time to play with them. When I saw this week's sketch at Atlantic Hearts I knew it would be a good time to practice with the various flowers. Some flowers are multiple layers while others are single layers all cut from shades of blues from the coordinating papers. I added leaves from the stitched flowers die and sprigs from the sprightly sprigs die by Verve. The papers are DCWV Linen Closet matstack and cardstock matstack. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and embossed in white. The card was finished by adding Nuvo drops to the flower centers in glitter white blizzard, glitter emerald city, and crystal ivory seashell. TFL</div>

Clean and simple was the design for this card using the sketch at MFT. I started with the Linen Closet matstack by DCWV for the papers and colors for this card. I used and edge punch by Martha Stewart called botanical scallop to add some interest across the card along with some baker's twine tied in a simple knot. MFT stitched flowers, stitched circles, and stitched oval were used for the elements of the card. I'm unsure about the manufacturer of the sentiment stamp.</div>

My grandmother was an awesome quilter and I wanted to try working with quilt patterns in some of my cards. I started with a die from Gina Marie Designs and the colors from this week's challenge at Color Throwdown. I found a beautiful paper with fall leaves from Paper Studio to add interest to my "quilt". The inside sentiment is by Stampin' Up and it reads, "Thinking of you at this time of year, and though we are miles apart, may the special love that's sent your way keep us close at heart." I think I will be sending this to my mother who lives a long distance away. TFL</div>
